EMK PRACTITIONER PATHWAY
Your pathway to becoming a qualified EMK Practitioner!
This pathway will enable you to become a certified Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ (EMK) Practitioner within as little as 10 months! However, if you’re not in a hurry, you can take your time to complete this pathway.
The EMK curriculum is structured into individual courses, making your learning journey both manageable and comprehensive. To become a fully qualified EMK Kinesiologist, you'll complete 6 in-person courses, along with an 8-week online training module with the founder of EMK, Denise Robinson.
The Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ modality is fully accredited and recognised by the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) as a Premier Training Provider under the "Specialised Kinesiology" category.
This training goes beyond Kinesiology certification. In addition to mastering the modality, you'll receive guidance on setting up your business, building your website and social media presence, advertising, managing client bookings, communicating effectively with clients, and much more.
All courses and programs in Steps 1, 2, 3 and 4 MUST be completed with competency to become certified as an EMK Practitioner.
You MUST have attended the EMK courses listed in Steps 1 and 2 as well as the Meridian Rivers of Chi Kinesiology Course in Step 3 to be eligible to attend the Practitioner Certification Training Program.
Please note: The Practitioner Certification Training Program is only taught by Denise Robison from By The Bay Kinesiology once a year, starting in August. Training for the Practitioner Certification Training Program is online via live video conference with Denise Robinson - 30 hours face to face commitment (day time or evening).

EMK Certification and Additional Requirements
Upon successfully completing the following:

All six Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Courses (198 hours)

Online Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Practitioner Certification Training Program (80 hours)
You will receive your Certification as a Certified Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Practitioner (278 hours total) and become eligible for membership with the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) as an EMK Practitioner. You will also be able to obtain insurance to practice Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology.
Additional Requirements:

Public Liability, Professional & Products Indemnity Insurance to practice EMK (available through IICT Membership). A specific EMK Practitioner link will be provided upon certification.

A signed 'By The Bay Kinesiology' Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology Practitioner Agreement, which includes a Non-Disclosure Agreement, Code of Ethics, and Recertification terms.

EMK Recertification every two years, as specified in the Practitioner Agreement, to remain an active* Certified Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Practitioner.
The Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Practitioner Certification is fully independent, trademarked, and copyrighted by By The Bay Kinesiology®.
*Active status refers to maintaining certification by completing recertification within the designated two-year period. Failure to do so will result in your status being marked as ‘inactive’ in our system.
Maintaining your EMK Practitioner Certification
EMK Practitioners must complete the EMK Practitioner Recertification every two years to maintain their status as an ACTIVE EMK Practitioner.
This recertification process entails booking a 2-hour Recertification session with a Certified EMK Assessor, for a flat fee of $300, payable to your instructor.
This recertification session includes:

You, as the Practitioner, delivering a 60-minute EMK Session to demonstrate competency as an EMK Practitioner.

Receiving 60 minutes of mentoring to enhance EMK skills, expand knowledge, and address any EMK session or business queries.
This session can be scheduled within the three months prior to your recertification date and will be repeated every two years, aligning with your practitioner's certification date on your certificate, to maintain an active practitioner status.
Your recertification sessions with Ashlee Spencer can be face-to-face or online. The By The Bay Kinesiology® office will be in contact with you via email when you are due for recertification. Once complete, an administration/processing fee of $66 will apply which includes a new electronic certificate being issued
The EMK Modality is fully accredited, certified and recognised with the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) as a recognised Premier Training Provider under ‘Specialised Kinesiology’. Once the full EMK Pathway is completed and you have been certified as an Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Practitioner, you will be eligible to become a member with the IICT and obtain insurance.
